Harvesting energy from cars
New Energy Technologies has patented Motion Power, a power generating rumble strip, that harnesses the kinetic or rolling energy from cars that drive over it. This technology has been tested at drive-thrus and hotel loading zones and is now about to be tested at a civic center in Ronoak, VA. This looks like a future viable source of energy. It may also help the shift from gas to electric cars. Potentially people can charge they're electric cars with the kinetic energy their car generates.
