8 hours of sunlight = drinking water
Check out the Eliodosmetico, a solar-powered water sanitizer, by Gabriele Diamanti. The Eliodosmetico is made using sustainable materials such as terracotta, recycled plastic and anodised zinc. Who care if it requires 8 hours of direct sunlight to sanitize water. This is definitely a design worth investing in and is a large step forward in beating world-wide poverty.
