While I was doing some research for another project, I ran into this website: http://www.toptenusa.org/ In this website they show different categories of home appliances: TVs, laptops, dishwashers, freezers, clothes washers, and more. Each category shows the top ten most efficient product in the USA. Anyone who is interested in buying a home appliance and is concerned with how much energy each device/appliance is going to drain, can go to this website and find the most efficient ones in the market.
I think if there are more websites or tools out there for consumers to find out which products in the market is the most efficient in its own category, a lot more people would switch to greener products...
