Anybody remember the EV1?
It was GM's first production electric car released back in the mid 90s. Although quite successful, GM repossessed every last one just a few years later claiming issues with batteries and lack of consumer demand. The 2006 documentary "Who Killed the Electric Car" tells the story of the EV1 and is definitely worth watching.
